AEKU disposable range reviews: tested in Thailand (2025) (v10)
AEKU disposable range advice for Thailand, covering palette, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
There is no single best aeku disposable range for everyone in Thailand, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling something. What surprised us most was how little the 0.8 Ω mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 60:40 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber.
There is no single best aeku disposable range for everyone in Thailand, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling something. Two things to check before ordering: the USB-C socket on the base and whether the 0.8 Ω mesh coil is the newer generation.
Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal. Charging over USB-C takes about 78 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries. If you take one thing from this page, make it the coil compatibility check. A device that needs a coil you cannot source locally becomes an expensive ornament within a month. The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 60:40 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly. Pricing in Thailand shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current THB rates rather than a fixed list price.
Worth noting that the Q-Plus takes a small amount of care to keep clean, which we cover in the maintenance section below. For first-time buyers, the learning curve is shorter than the specification list suggests, and daily use is straightforward from the first charge. Vapour production is more than adequate at 25, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying. Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all. The instruction booklet is thin, but the diagrams are clear enough that most people set the device up without further help.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Classic Menthol: cool, sharp, described as clean peppermint with consistent coolness. On a 60:40 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 0.8 Ω mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Thailand
Availability in Thailand is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 0.8 Ω mesh and the USB-C are both in stock before committing, and check that the Q-Plus matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and THB rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
Our advice is to order one, use it for a fortnight, and only then decide whether to stock up.
