AEKU disposable range upgrades and spare parts (Strawberry Cream) (v2)
AEKU disposable range advice for Thailand, covering long-term test, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
We spent weeks putting aeku disposable range options through their paces so the recommendations here reflect real use. Vapour production is more than adequate at 40, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying.
There is no single best aeku disposable range for everyone in Thailand, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling something. Comparing this against a 55:45 PG/VG setup shows the difference clearly: one favours flavour, the other favours volume.
The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 55:45 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly. Pricing in Thailand shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current THB rates rather than a fixed list price. Airflow control on the Suorin Air Plus is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank.
Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal. Charging over Micro-USB takes about 56 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries. Two things to check before ordering: the Micro-USB socket on the base and whether the 0.8 Ω mesh coil is the newer generation.
The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own. What surprised us most was how little the 0.8 Ω mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 55:45 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber. The Rose Quartz finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily.
Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all. The instruction booklet is thin, but the diagrams are clear enough that most people set the device up without further help. Flavour tracking stays consistent from the first day to roughly the 0.8 Ω mesh mark before the profile flattens and a swap makes sense.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Coconut Pineapple: creamy, tropical, described as smooth coconut layered over pineapple. On a 55:45 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 0.8 Ω mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Thailand
Availability in Thailand is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 0.8 Ω mesh and the Micro-USB are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 bottom pin matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and THB rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
Availability shifts often, so check the current listing before committing to a large order.
